Confession Saturday: Dear Lara Jean

Confession Saturday is a book meme hosted by The Reading Armchair in which you write a short or long letter to a character.

This week, I am writing a letter to Lara Jean from "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" and "P.S. I Still Love You" by Jenny Han.

Dear Lara Jean,
In the beginning, I really liked you. I felt like I could identify with you. When you crushed, I crushed with you. When you fell in love, I was right there rooting for you. But then everything changed. I suddenly became annoyed with you demeanor. I no longer felt like I could identify with you. Even though we were the same age when I first met you and then I became older than you, I feel like your are really immature. I think you need to face the facts of reality and grow up. You are almost done with high school. You need to start acting like it. I get that boys are confusing and all that, but come on, have some common sense.
Sincerely,
     Sierra

So that was my confession. If you want to participate in this meme, feel free to, and be sure to add your link here.

  1. I completely agree with you! Lara Jean started off on a good foot, but then progressively got more naive and a bit ignorant in my opinion. I did find she got better in the sequel though!

    1. Yeah I agree, she was pretty naive and ignorant. She definitely got better though in the sequel towards the end.

  2. Aaawww I haven't read neither of them, although I've read so much about them. You'd expect that she would learn and mature a little, but I guess this never happens. Great letter! Thanks for joining :)
