Top 5 Wednesday: Top 5 Books You Were Spoiled For

TOP 5 BOOKS I WAS SPOILED FOR

Spoilers... Oh I could say a thing or too about spoilers. In general, I don't like being spoiled, and I do a pretty damn good job of avoiding spoilers if I do say so myself. Every now and then though, I get spoiled. Sometimes, I don't care if I get spoiled and I am completely okay with it. Other times, if I get spoiled, I get really angry and it takes everything in side of me not to kill the person who spoiled me. Well onwards!

5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

11870085

I honestly wasn't going to read this book until I heard it was being turned into a movie and everyone and their mother was talking about it at my school which was weird because the people at my school hate reading and never talk about books. Well before I picked up the book, I was spoiled by a girl sitting at the same table at me in the cafeteria. It bothered me a little bit, but it wasn't the end of the world.

4. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

40698

This case is probably different than everyone else's. I purposefully spoiled myself. We were reading this book for class and I just wanted to know what happened before everyone else so I googled the book.

3. Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama

13154150

Tumblr man. All I can say is if you are not in the know about what happens in this series, do not good on Tumblr,

2. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

11106458

I asked my best friend Neesha to tell me what happens because after the first because I was not interested in the series and honestly Cassandra Clare pisses me off.

1. Hamlet by William Shakespeare

828313

We were reading this for my AP Literature class and in general I am not a fan of Shakespeare, but I was actually invested in this story but noooo some bitch in class decides to yell out the ending in the middle of discussion before we have even started reading the book as a class. God I hated her... I still do, but for other reasons.

Those were my spoiler experiences. I would love to hear all of y'all's in the comments down below.

  1. what annoys me with spoilers is more TV shows and movies rather than books. Thanks to the interwebs, I know pretty much all of Thor 2 without having got round to actually watching it (which I will... because, Loki.) What's even more annoying is spoilers for TV shows where the UK is either a few episodes behind the US, or we haven't even *got the series* yet - people going on about Shadowhunters on Twitter, for example. We don't have that series yet. Please stop it! Lol.

    1. Well tv and movie spoilers are just unavoidable no matter what you do. The best way to avoid them is to avoid the Internet and people in general because there is no way people are going to stop talking about stuff. Most people probably don't even know that most US stuff airs later in the UK.

    2. this is true :) I've gotten pretty good at ignoring spoilers, or just not letting them bother me in general - I think it's more jealousy that we don't have the shows/episodes yet! :)

  2. I think everyone kind of knew what was going to happen when reading tfios. Still though, I was still shocked and saddened when I got to the end :(

    1. See I didn't even know what TFIOS was about when I was spoiled. All I knew was the name and bam! I was spoiled. I didn't even know the plot or the characters.
