JULY 2016 WRAP UP

This just might have been the best reading month in the history of my book blogging career. Like it was AMAZING!!! I read 15 books!!!

I cannot believe that I read 15 books! I'm so proud of myself and it feels so good to have read that many. I feel like I did when I first started this blog. I really feel in love with reading. That being said, a lot of the large number of books I read can be attributed to Booktubeathon 2016 and Make Me Read It Readathon. If tose hadn't occurred this month, I don't think I would have had the energy or motivation to do all this reading.

Favorite Book: It was definitely "November 9", which you can tell by clicking on my review. I just, I really loved this book. Colleen Hoover never stops amazing me with her amazing writing and the stories she builds.

Least Favorite Book: I'd have to say "The Evolution of Mara Dyer". I read the first book such a long time ago, and from what I remember, I think I actually liked that book. But this book, I just could not stand to read it. It felt like there was no plot and I was not a fan of the characters anymore.

My Blog Posts

This month was a great blogging month as well. I wrote 17 blog posts! Man, I was just on fire this month.

My Favorite Post: So technically, this wasn't a blog post, but I made it a blog post. I did a video for Booktubeathon, and I really enjoyed writing it, so I'm choosing it. You can view it here.

Virtual Hugs

This month I am giving virtual hugs to everyone in the book blogger community that has interacted with me. It feels so nice having people talk to me about books and just care you know. My second year anniversary for this little blog is approaching, and honestly, I didn't think it would last this long. But you guys have made it worthwhile.

Personal

I ended my summer medical program halfway through the month, so that was nice. As much as I was glad to have an opportunity to learn more about medical school and get involved in the medical community, I was just so done with all the people and wanted to be home to do absolutely nothing. Now that I've spent half the month doing nothing, I think I'm ready for college to start back up again. I'm ready to go back to the city and not be in the middle of nowhere. I miss eating sushi with my friends. I'm really excited for living with my new suitemates next year and bonding with them. Also I can't wait to cook up a bunch of new foods in our kitchen. I'm also ready to get classes underway and hopefully make new friends in those classes. I literally had only like 3 friends in all of my classes last year and talked to no one, so I'm hoping to change that.
