Title: Where the Sidewalk Ends

Author: Shel Silverstein

Format: Hardcover

Page Count: 176

Publisher: HarperCollins; 1st edition

My Rating:  ★★★★★

SynopsisWhere the sidewalk ends, Shel Silverstein's world begins. There you'll meet a boy who turns into a TV set and a girl who eats a whale. The Unicorn and the Bloath live there, and so does Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout who will not take the garbage out. It is a place where you wash your shadow and plant diamond gardens, a place where shoes fly, sisters are auctioned off, and crocodiles go to the dentist.

Now I know what you are all thinking: "Why are you reading a children's poetry book?" Well the answer is, sometimes I just want something light-hearted and easy to read, and this fulfills both of those requirements.
There really isn't much I can say other than it is a funny and wonderful book of poetry everyone should read at least once in their life.
